Salary: Competitive

Hours of work: 9:00 - 5:30 Monday - Friday

A little bit about what they need...

As an Account Manager you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional customer service experience to potential and existing clients. There are two fundamental aspects to the role: to build successful relationships with clients, supporting Business Development Managers (BDMs); and to represent the business development function within Head Office, working with internal teams on a number of projects and co-ordinating activities to ensure that clients, products and rotations are managed effectively.

As the Account Manager, you will be responsible for:

* Deal with enquiries from existing and potential clients and / or caterers, providing accurate and timely responses.
* Build a strong client relationship through delivering a range of effective account management activities to ensure that Monty's Bakehouse is seen to add value to our clients' businesses.
* Manage client forecasting requirements to minimise risk to the business through stock over production.
* Support business development activities which including the preparation for client visits and any follow up activities.
* Create and maintain client account plans with market intel and any relevant activity (past, present or future) for designated clients.
* Act as the office-based business development representative to co-ordinate sales activities and liaising with all internal team.
* Ensure that Salesforce, the company's CRM system, is kept up to date and accurate at all times.

Requirements of the Account Manager:

* Experience of working in a customer focused role, with an understanding of how to develop business relationships. Strong service background.
* Good communication skills, with the aptitude to develop these to be able to engage successfully when speaking, presenting or writing to clients. Languages in addition to English an advantage.
* The ability to build and maintain effective working relationships both internally and externally.
* Highly organised, self-motivated, analytical, logical, strong attention to detail and excellent time management abilities.
* PC literate, with strong MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills. Knowledge of CRM systems such as Salesforce an advantage.
