Are you a dedicated and professional private tutor who enjoys teaching children and making a real difference in their performance in school? We are looking for flexible and adaptable individuals that are confident in covering a mixture of lessons when work and lessons are set or delivering 1:1 tuition sessions in primary curriculum and KS3 & KS4 Maths, Science and English.

Main subjects in high demand: Maths, English, Physics, Biology, Science, Humanities

All levels required: Primary, GCSE, A-level and Degree

Responsibilities and Duties

* Lessons are typically 1-2 hours long.
* Lessons take place in student's homes, so you should be comfortable travelling to them.
* Students vary from primary to secondary to adult learners, with many seeking help for specific examinations, such as GCSEs or A-Levels, SAT and Entrance exams (11+).
* You should join us if you can commit to regular weekly lesson until your student's exam time.

Qualifications and Skills

* You must have strong subject knowledge, a personable nature and have a degree (1st or 2:1) in the subject you teach
* Formal teaching qualification is desirable but we also accept applicants with strong academic qualification and tutoring experience.
* Child only workforce DBS that is registered on the update service - If you do not have one already you can apply for one through Teaching Personnel

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
