An exciting opportunity for an experienced Regional/Area Community Fundraising Manager to join an inspiring childrens charity and Sunday Times Top 100 Not-For-Profit organisation on a fixed term maternity contract. In this varied role, you will deliver and develop the Regional Fundraising strategy and line manage an exceptional Regional Fundraising team of five. The CharityAn inspiring childrens charity that enables families who have a child with a life-threatening or terminal illness to make the most of time together, providing expert, practical and emotional support, where they need it for as long as it is needed. The RoleThis role will lead and line manage the Regional Fundraising team and deliver a new fundraising strategy that drives income, profile and awareness of the charity in the South East region. This role will see you taking ownership of the total budget through the management of the Regional Fundraisers. The target for the region for the financial year is 850kThis post will develop robust, innovative and sustainable action plans in line with the business plan and wider fundraising strategy. This will be achieved through management of the operational plan and the successful implementation of fundraising and marketing activities; focusing on higher performing fundraising activities such as educational establishments, golf clubs, beneficiary events and local businesses.This post will be instrumental in driving the use of the charitys Volunteer Ambassadors, Fundraisers and Friends Groups. It will lead on the development of setting up new groups across the regions, working with the Regional Fundraisers and the Volunteer Manager to identify areas.The CandidateWe are looking for an experienced fundraising professional who is a confident relationship builder. Someone who has an excellent understanding of supporter relationship management and development and who has the drive and enthusiasm necessary to grow this programme.Proven experience in in Regional/ Community Fundraising and line management experience is essentialProven project management experience and the ability to adapt to challenges/changes whilst meeting income and activity targetsExcellent communication skills (written and oral), able to adapt communication style to recognise the need of the audienceEvidence of an ability work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment while managing a wide range of internal stakeholders, external relationships, activities and volunteers at one timeA self-starter with strong team-working and organisational skills and the ability to remain focused within a dynamic environment.A strong understanding of and experience of marketing via all digital channels to recruit volunteer community fundraisers and raise fundsExperience managing a budgetIMPORTANT NOTEOur aim is to respond to all successful applications within 5 days.
