The Company

Established in 1991 our client is a dedicated Projects company concentrating on projects where system design, supply, and installation of professional Lighting, Sound, Audio Visual or Suspension systems are key requirement.

The Role

As Projects Engineer you will be an integral part of a professional Projects Team working closely with the project managers in coordinating and completing major projects both in the UK & Internationally. In that role you would be fulfilling the following functions
Assisting Project Managers in the Planning, Organising and Managing of projects from initial concept to completion including:
Assisting in the preparation of tenders, and project documentation.
Coordinating project requirements with procurement and admin staff.
Providing AutoCAD drawings as required (AutoCAD training course will be provided if required)
Providing prompt response to customers and consultants enquiries.
Attending pre tender site surveys/meetings with project managers` as required
Assist in on-site system commissioning/operator training
Attend and help staff exhibitions

To be considered you will need to:
Have a technical background in either Entertainment/Theatre or Studio Lighting
be proficient in the use of MS Word and MS Excel
Have good organisational/prioritising abilities
Accept accuracy and attention to detail as a prerequisite of their role
Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
Be ambitious to make a career in Project Management
