My client, who are based in Worcester and currently seeking a Buyer due to a groth in business levels. The successful candidate will be working closely with the Procurement Manager.

Job description:

* Purchasing

* Collating purchase orders
* Purchasing components
* Expediting
* Booking in deliveries from suppliers

* Stock
* Freight costs
* Purchase orders
* Deliveries
* Invoices
* Purchase prices

Skills and Experience:

* Good IT skills
* Procurement experience
* Office experience essential

Person profile:

* Confident and outgoing personality
* Positive approach to work
* Able to work under pressure.
* A self-starter who is able to work under own initiative
* A team player not afraid of getting their hands dirty from time to time.

Qualifications

* “A” level educated, proficient in English.
* HND/HNC qualifications or equivalent NVQ’s preferable but not essential.
* Must be IT literate, with good knowledge of Microsoft applications, especially Excel.
* Knowledge of ERP or MRP processes a bonus.
