Core subject graduates needed for Cheshire East Secondary Schools in September 2018 to support as a Teaching Assistant within an English, Maths or Science department. If you have recently graduated or have a related degree in English, Maths or Science and are looking to pursue a career in education or teaching.

We will have opportunities to work as a teaching assistant for the full academic year supporting students on a small group and 1:1 basis across Years 7 -11 in school across Cheshire East and Macclesfield. You ill be working alongside full class teachers observing and learning effective teaching strategies to get the best out of all students through engaging lessons and activities.

Teaching Personnel provide regular CPD opportunities in addition to opportunities for training courses given by the school. If you are interested in the role of a Graduate Teaching Assistant you will need to have a passion for education and personality that will engage students within their learning.

Highlights of this role;

* Full time Graduate positions for the academic year form September 18 – July 19
* Pay rates of �275-�325 per week
* Regular training and development courses
* Gain first hand experience to support a teacher training application

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
