A large Roman Catholic secondary school in Bolton are currently recruiting a Maths teacher to cove a maternity leave from September 2018.

With the current post holder due to go on leave in October, this high achieving 11-16 secondary school wish to appoint a Maths teacher from September 2018 in order to do a full handover and prepare the incoming Maths teacher accordingly.

* Full time Maths teacher from September 2018
* Temporary 12 month position covering maternity leave
* Ofsted graded Good Roman Catholic secondary school
* Pay in line with MPS/UPS dependant on experience (�22,917 - �38,633)

School details:

Located in Bolton, a 10 minute drive from the town centre, the school is easily accessible via the M61 motorway. The school was judged as a Good school across all areas in its most recent Ofsted support and has a supportive leadership team in place. The school also offers free parking to staff; alternatively the public transport links are very accessible to the surrounding areas, Chorley, Bury, Salford, Manchester and Wigan.

Maths teacher applicant requirements:

* Hold UK QTS and a PGCE specialising within secondary Mathematics
* Be confident teaching both KS3 and GCSE pupils, ranging in ability
* Have good behaviour management skills and hold a proven record of raising pupil attainment
* Be available to start in September 2018 and be able to commit to working within this excellent department for the full academic year


The successful Maths teacher will hold a timetable consisting of both KS3 and GCSE classes. Pupils are setted on ability and the incoming Maths teacher will be comfortable delivering to all ability levels. You will be required to commit to taking on full teaching responsibilities including; planning and marking, following schemes of work, attending regular training and development opportunities and half termly parents evenings.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
