We are working as the recruitment partner for a primary school based in the Gillingham area in Wiltshire. This role is a temporary role.

The school is seeking to appoint a dynamic, committed teacher with experience and enthusiasm for delivering the KS2 national curriculum.

The successful candidate will be based in year 4 and will have the opportunity to work as part of a successful teaching team to contribute to a positive learning environment.

The successful candidates will be required to;

* To create and manage a caring, supportive, purposeful and stimulating environment which is conducive to children’s learning.
* To plan and prepare lessons in order to deliver the National Curriculum ensuring breadth and balance in all subjects.
* To identify clear teaching objectives and learning outcomes, with appropriate challenge and high expectations.
* To maintain good order and discipline among the pupils, safeguarding their health and safety.
* To organise and manage groups or individual pupils ensuring differentiation of learning needs, reflecting all abilities.
* To plan opportunities to develop the social, emotional and cultural aspects of pupils’ learning.
* To maintain a regular system of monitoring, assessment, record-keeping and reporting of children’s progress.
* To participate in staff meetings as required.
* To ensure that school policies are reflected in daily practice.
* To meet with parents and appropriate agencies, to contribute positively to the education of the children concerned.

Candidates must hold Qualified Teacher Status, and have experience teaching in UK primary schools. The school are keen to encourage applications from NQT’s and FQT’s.

Candidates must be able to fully commit to the post which commences on Monday 3rd September 2018 and is a temporary contract until the July 2019.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
