Teaching Personnel are working alongside a ‘GOOD’ primary school in the Gorton area of Manchester (M18) to help them staff for two KS2 teaching assistants to start in September. Due to a staffing restructure, the school are looking to recruit two additional Teaching Assistants to help support learning on a full time basis. The role is to work in a 2 form entry primary school which ‘serves a culturally rich and very diverse community, in an area of high socio-economic challenge’. The school are looking for two, confident, adaptable and hard working teaching assistants who will be able to make a positive impact on children’s learning.

The school has high levels and EAL and SEN, so candidates who have experience working with children with additional needs are encouraged to get in touch. The head teacher and governors of the school are looking for applicants who have positive working attitudes who are able to face challenges head on whilst working as a positive role model for children across the school.

To be considered for this role, you will have:

* A degree/level 3 qualification or equivalent
* Experience supporting primary aged children in an educational capacity
* A flexible, adaptable working attitude

Both TA roles will start in September and will run up until the end of the academic year. the school are looking to appoint permanently for the roles so the opportunity to work onto a school based contract may be possible for the right person.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
