Are you a qualified teacher specialising in Design Technology seeking part time work in September? If you are competent teaching Resistant materials to GCSE and other areas of the Technology curriculum to KS3, this part time position in Bury from September could be suitable for you.

* Design Technology teacher, part time position from September

* Initially supply introduction, pay ranging from �110 - �165 per day (MPS)

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with this modern secondary school to aid their recruitment for a Design Technology teacher. The post is to cover maternity leave on a part time basis until April 2019 in the first instance. You’ll be responsible for the teaching of Resistant Materials (KS3/GCSE) and Year 7/8 Technology (Food Tech, Product Design). The school boasts a modernised new building and facilities that are up to date and enable teachers to create engaging lessons. You will be supported by a Technology Technician who provides support for practical’s and displays within the classrooms, the faculty leader has been a longstanding member of staff and is extremely supportive.

Situated in Bury, this is a larger than average secondary school serving the Prestwich, Whitefield and North Manchester catchment area. The schools results exceed the national average and is above the national floor standards for attainment and progress, behaviour and leadership were graded as good in the last Ofsted inspection.
