English teacher required in Luton

Teaching Personnel are working alongside a school in Luton who have expressed the need for an English teacher to join the department on a full time basis in September. The school are rated OFSTED good and strive to be ambitious, achieve results and enjoy learning. The school aims to create an individualised and superior curriculum which encourages their students’ progress and develop. Data is closely monitored and used to evaluate the progress of students and bring attention to those who need support. The school base their support on the belief that everyone is capable of achieving. The successful candidate will be able to confidently teach English to Key stage 3 and 4 as well as having excellent subject/curriculum knowledge.

The ideal candidate will also:

* Have a strong classroom presence, excellent behaviour management and communication skills
* Have the organisation skills necessary to plan, prepare and mark work within given deadlines
* Be able to deliver creative and engaging lessons that cater to a variety of learning styles
* Be able to adopt and promote the schools ethos
* Motivate themselves as well as encourage students
* Work cooperatively alongside the department in order to drive progress

In return, Teaching Personnel will provide you with competitive rates dependent upon experience and role. We will also provide you with constant guidance and support throughout your time with us. In order to be successful all candidates will be able to provide two references as well as a current child work force DBS on the update service.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
