Part time Science teacher – Bolton based 11-16 secondary school.

Our client school located on the outskirts of Bolton town centre seek to appoint a part time Science teacher, initially on a 12 month basis, however there is the potential of a permanent post for the ideal applicant.

* Science teacher required to cover a 0.8 timetable – 4 days per week – September 2018 start
* Ofsted graded outstanding leadership and management
* Fixed term position 12 months with opportunity to gain permanent post
* Pay in line with MPS/UPS dependant on experience (�22,917 - �38,633)
* Well resourced Science department led by a supportive and popular head of department

All available Science teachers looking for a part time role are encouraged to apply for this position, with the timetable being able to accommodate Physics, Chemistry and Biology specialists. Science teachers wishing to be considered for this position are required to be comfortable teaching all areas of KS3 Science as well as their specialism area to GCSE level. The Headteacher seeks to appoint a Science teacher who is able to challenge the learning of all pupils and positive impact attainment.

This school is located on the border of Farnworth and Little Lever, making it easily accessible via the M61 and M60 motorways. For non drivers there are strong public transport links from Bolton town centre and surrounding areas, Salford, Bury and Wigan.

Facilities in School are excellent and the School has a modern and state of the art feel throughout. Science teachers are supported by lab technicians who offer an excellent level of resource and planning support to members of the department.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
