Business Manager - Sutton - Immediately Job Title: Business Manager Tempest Resourcing are recruiting on behalf of a school in Sutton who are looking to appoint an Business Manager The role is based in Sutton and is a Temp - perm in Role . The candidate will need to be able to start Immediately . The perfect candidate will have previous experience working within a school as an Business Manager the salary is £38,690 - £42,450 Duties include but aren't limited to: To actively model and promote the values and ethos of the college. The School Business Manager is the school's leading support staff professional and works as part of the Senior Leadership Team. He/she assists the Executive Head Teacher in his/her duty to ensure that the college meets its educational aims, and is supported by efficient administration and sound finances. The School Business Manager is responsible for providing professional leadership and management of school support staff across the college, in partnership with teaching staff, to enhance their effectiveness in order to achieve improved standards of learning and achievement across the sites. The School Business Manager promotes the highest standards of business ethos and governance within the administrative function of the school and strategically ensures the most effective use of resources in support of the college's learning objectives. The School Business Manager is responsible for the Finance and Administration, Management Information systems and ICT, Human Resource Management, Premises Management, Health & Safety Management and all matters within the management of the college which are supportive to, but do not directly involve teaching and learning. As a member of the Leadership team to be responsible for: creating and delivering a shared corporate strategic vision; raising standards of learning and teaching; building capacity across the workforce; improving organisation structures and functions so the college remains fit for purpose; building and sustaining effective relationships and communications strategies; working with the community and other services to improve the outcomes and well being of students.
