Field Sales Executive - £24,300 + Commission - North Yorkshire area

Main duties and responsibilities of the Field Sales Executive

- This is a business to business sales role that requires extensive travel and overnight stays when necessary.
- You will be developing and maintaining relationships, with your main targets being Landlords, Local Authorities and Housing Associations.
- You will gain business by sourcing and maintaining a prospect customer database, attending events and exhibitions as well as calling prospect customers to set up appointments.
- You will work with the Senior BDM to devise a tailored plan to best maximise potential within each area, and prepare presentations for face to face meetings with prospect customers with the view to set up new projects and develop long standing relationships between Utilita and the customer.
- This role also requires you to have daily verbal communication and to attend monthly face to face meetings with existing customers to deal with enquiries, resolve problems, troubleshoot issues and provide advice so you must be prepared to deal with difficult or challenging situations.
- You will need to prepare reports and analyses as required by the Senior BDM and UK Sales Manager. You would be managing your own diary, arranging appointments and meetings with current and possible clients to ensure projects are delivered within agreed timescales and all meetings are followed up on.


What we're looking in the Field Sales Executive

- have experience in face to face sales
- proven track record in achieving or exceeding individual targets
- To truly succeed in this role, you must be confident in using all Microsoft Office programmes especially Outlook, SharePoint, SalesForce and Excel.
- A full UK driving licence is essential
- To be considered for this role you must be educated to at least an A Level standard
- Some understanding of the Energy Market and its regulations is desirable but not necessary as well as experience with Social Housing, Lettings and Property Maintenance.
