SALARY & BENEFITS: Competitive and will depend on skills and experience

WORKING HOURS: 40 hours per week with two full days off per week.

THE COMPANY: Our client, based in Manton, Rutland, is an award winning privately owned freehouse located in the idyllic village of Manton on the south shore of Rutland Water.

Our client is a small family business of over 16 years with two freehold sites in Rutland who pride themselves on not only meeting but exceeding their customer’s expectation’s.

The recent award winning pub offers all the charm and character of a traditional country inn. The open fires, stone floors and low beams along with a wide choice of locally sourced home cooked food, fine wines and real ales will ensure that your visit will be a memorable occasion just waiting to be recaptured. They are now on the lookout for a Sous Chef to join the existing kitchen team.

THE ROLE: The Sous Chef will be working as part of the kitchen team and will be carrying out the following duties.
Key Responsibilities of Sous Chef to include:-
• Preparing, cooking and serving fresh food to order. • Maintaining Health & Safety / Hygiene

THE CANDIDATE: The ideal candidate will enjoy working as part of a small team and have an eye for attention to detail. They will have previous experience working in a similar role or environment. The successful Sous Chef will need the relevant qualifications and be passionate about food, service and quality.

Key experience essential for the role of Sous Chef based in Manton, Rutland:
• Will live within a commutable distance of the Rutland area
• Will have previous experience working in a similar environment / role
