We are seeking a REF Administrator is responsible for supporting the Director of Strategy and Operations, the UoA Chairman, Academic and Research staff and other Administrators, to set up and deliver the effective coordination and planning for all aspects of the Research Excellence Framework
2021 administration for General Engineering. This is one of the largest single submissions in the UK.

Based at the Department of Engineerings main site, you will help shape and implement policy, as
well as create auditable records for the submission, chase queries, create summaries and produce
statistics.

You will be educated to degree or equivalent level in a subject that demands logical/structured reasoning. As you will need to engage and communicate effectively with all stakeholders, excellent written and oral communications skills are essential for this role, with an emphasis on precision and efficiency. Interviewing/consulting skills and teaching/coaching skills would be valuable for finding information and helping academics refine their contribution. Postgraduate research qualifications or experience may be advantageous. The role also requires advanced IT skills and project management expertise.

Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available for 3 years in the first instance.
