What you will do

As the Service Sales Manager you will drive the direct regional service sales organisation ensuring the team operates effectively and productively in achieving growth targets for new AMR sales, ultimately supporting RIF growth. You will run a UK wide team initially, and results will determine the scale of the organisation to be developed.

You will be working closely with the Head of AMR Sales, you will directly lead the service sales function to take ownership for the change of direction to focus on local Facility Management Company engagement, and named defined lead sources. Critically the focus is to sell our full portfolio of solutions and applications (with a fire detection focus).

Critical will be your ability to collaborate and work openly with other sales channels – specifically the relationship teams in fire/security, suppression, HVAC and key accounts who will be actively driving service sales within there go to market strategies.

How you will do it

You will lead the execution of the go to market strategy, and use of toolkits/value selling concepts – working closely with the head of AMR sales to ensure strategies are achieved, learnings taken and developed and toolkits fully leveraged for success. You will also use, adoption and productivity view use of Company systems, tools, pricing policies and sales processes/training.
Through relentless management of performance, leveraging ROA models and CRM data you will identify any root cause for performance, and actions associated.
As a daily priority, you will blend in field accompaniments with formal one to one conversations to ensure our field sales teams are continually improving. You will leverage the framework, tools and process to ensure coaching is effectively focused with each specific individual in the team.

What we look for
The team will be driving nett new service contract acquisition, as such you must have experience in developing new business, and ideally leading teams selling service contracts or similar.

The Sales Manager must hold field sales and field sales management experience, and have in-depth knowledge of the complexities of relationship selling. The primary role of the manager is coaching the sales team through planning, business development, opportunity and pipeline management via informal and formal interactions to achieve channel objectives.

You will be experienced All performance, activity, planning and sales processes are managed by the Sales Manager through, JCI’s CRM application.
