Full time English teacher required in September – Manchester secondary school close to the city centre.

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a secondary school close to central Manchester to aid their recruitment for an English teacher in September 2018. This is an open vacancy within the department which requires a talented English teacher who can deliver a high standard of learning to pupils from varying backgrounds (both culturally and socially). The successful applicant will be teaching English predominately to KS3 classes, previous experience teaching English to a Year 7 cohort who may be below the required attainment level would be an advantage, the focus is on a successful transition from KS2-3.

The position will initially be temporary with a view to becoming permanent upon a successful review, the timetable largely consists of KS3 English teacher, particularly with our new Year 7 cohort so previous experience would be a distinct advantage for applicants, an interview and observation is required and can be arranged ASAP”, Deputy Head.
