Drama Teacher – Northampton - September 2018.

A secondary school in Northampton are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and highly motivated Teacher of Drama to start in September 2018. This is an exciting opportunity for an NQT or experienced teacher to join a successful Performing Arts team. The ideal candidate will be a creative and dynamic practitioner who will be able to contribute to the development of our Drama curriculum at all key stage levels, including sixth form.

Pay rate for this role is competitive and dependant on experience – enquire for further information.

The ideal candidate for this role will be:

* Be a highly organised individual with excellent time management necessary to prepare lessons
* Ensure lessons are innovate and engaging
* Be a determined individual who is able to motivate themselves and others
* Posses excellent classroom and behavioural management skills
* Be dedicated to raising and maintaining attainment levels across year groups
* Have a strong knowledge of the current subject curriculum and the education system
* Have high aspirations which match the schools desire to consistently strive for excellence
* Encourage personalised student development

All candidates must provide two references as well as a Current Child Workforce DBS registered with the DBS Update Service. Teaching personnel will also provide ongoing support and personalised guidance to the candidates throughout.
