Teacher of Mathematics - September

Are you an engaging and passionate Teacher of Mathematics looking for a career where you can make a difference?

The Mathematics department of an Academy in Corby are looking to recruit a dedicated teacher for September. The academy want to ensure all pupils leave with the key numeracy, reasoning and problem solving skills to enable them to succeed in life and wish to recruit someone who shares this vision. As a Teacher of Mathematics you will be expected to ensure, through effective Teaching and Learning, that all pupils are equipped to use and apply mathematics in other areas of the curriculum as well as within the subject itself.

The ideal candidate will also:

* Be a highly organised individual with excellent time management necessary to prepare lessons
* Ensure lessons are innovate and engaging – catering to a variety of learning styles
* Be a determined individual who is able to motivate themselves and others
* Posses excellent classroom and behavioural management skills
* Be dedicated to raising and maintaining attainment levels across year groups
* Have a strong knowledge of the current subject curriculum and the education system
* Have high aspirations which match the schools desire to consistently strive for excellence
* Encourage personalised student development

All candidates must provide two references as well as a Current Child Workforce DBS registered with the DBS Update Service. Teaching personnel will also provide ongoing support and personalised guidance to the candidates throughout.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
