English Teacher Needed in January 2019

A Farnborough based secondary school urgently require a English Teacher to start in January due to planned absence. The School is judged 'Outstanding' by Ofsted and consistently receives outstanding results. The role is full time; the candidate will ideally start as soon as possible, and will be delivering KS3 and KS4 English lessons to a range of pupils. The role will also include intervention for year 11 classes; the candidate should be confident planning and delivering intervention. The candidate should have excellent subject knowledge of the English curriculum to GCSE and experience teaching at KS3/4 English. Despite the initial temporary nature of the position the head teacher is potentially looking to make a permanent position for a suitable candidate. The candidate should have a committed attitude to making a positive impact within a supportive and forward thinking English department. All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
