Business Development Manager

Location: This role is home based so you can be based within any of the following cities: London, Leeds, Manchester, Bristol, Birmingham, Southampton, Newcastle and more!

Salary: Circa �40,000 per annum

They are currently recruiting for a Business Development Manager to join their financial solutions department. The Financial solutions team provide support and advice to our clients where equity release is a possible option, or where we may be able to assist with an alternative mortgage solution.

The role of the Business Development Manager:

* You will be reporting to the Head of Mortgage advice services, this is a new and exciting opportunity to join the team, which will help support the financial solutions development strategy by pro-actively pursuing and developing new opportunities with third parties by initiating and building new relationships, in line with our business objectives and growth plans.
* You will be also supporting in creating name awareness for our client by securing and growing income streams and expanding our relationships.
* As this role requires regular travel, you will be flexible to travel around the UK or wider and be prepared to stay overnight when required. You will also be required to visit our main office in Leeds at least once a week.

Requirements of the Business Development Manager:

* Previous experience within a relationship management or business development position within the financial services sector is essential with an understanding of the Mortgage and Equity Release market.
* The suitable candidate will demonstrate considerable experience of stakeholder management and driving growth through developing new relationships within the financial services sector.
* You'll be a strong influencer with the ability to steer 3rd party decision making, and have the ability to problem solve and negotiate as well as be an excellent communicator.
* You'll also have an understanding of the evolving regulatory regime within the UK
* You'll have the ability to think strategically and creatively, and to implement effective short and medium term plans
