On behalf of our client school in Rochdale, we are currently seeking a Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant to join the department in September, assisting pupils with behaviour problems and a variety of SEMH needs with the aim of minimizing their risk of permanent exclusion from mainstream education.

This Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant will include working with students on a 1:1 basis, as well as in group settings, in an outside of the classroom.

Our client school is a large mixed school in Rochdale, a short distance from Rochdale infirmary and close to major transport links from the city centre, including Rochdale railway station and Rochdale interchange. The school is very well facilitated, giving the incoming Behaviour Support Assistant a wide abundance of resources to support their efforts in improving the attendance, general conduct and learning potential of the pupil they are supporting.

* Earn up to �1300 a month as a Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant(dependant on responsibilities and experience)
* Full time position in a large well facilitated school, close to major transport links to the city centre
* Working with pupils on a 1:1 basis as well as a group setting, inside and outside of the classroom
* Long term position starting in September, with the potential of a permanent contract for the right candidate
* Anybody with previous experience working as a Behaviour Support worker, or with similar working experience is invited to apply, with interviews taking place next week

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
