If so, I have a school in Preston who could be looking for you! At Teaching Personnel we work in partnership with a secondary school in Preston who are looking for an RE Teacher from September to cover a leave within the Humanities Department. This role is for half a term initially, with a view to a years contract.

The school is an average sized secondary school with around 900 students on roll. The school has high expectations for the delivery of high quality lessons and pupil outcomes.

The incoming RE Teacher will be expected to plan and deliver their own lessons (shared resources will be available) and mark students work accordingly. With this being a long term teaching opportunity you will also be expected to attend termly parents evenings and staff CPD.

The school are welcoming applications from both NQTs and experienced Teachers. This is an 'Outstanding' school were students present good behaviour. To be eligible to apply for this role you MUST have:

- Valid UK PGCE in RE

- Recent experience teaching KS3/4 RE

- The ability to plan and deliver high quality lessons

- The commitment to a long term, full-time post

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
