Are you experienced in building strong client relationships and determining winning strategies for contract retention and sales?

Here at Compass Group UK & Ireland we are currently on the lookout for a Strategic Partner to join our Retention team. As a Strategic Partner for our Restaurant Associates sector, you will be responsible for supporting sales activity and the retention of a proportion of our top client contracts. This role is integral to our continued success!

Main responsibilitiesReporting in to the Strategic Partnership Director, you will be responsible for building strategic relationships with our clients, identifying specific areas that may prevent a client from re-appointing Compass and working closely with our clients and operations team to provide solutions and develop our overall service delivery. You will conduct independent client interviews to understand their needs, and the extent to which we are meeting their expectations and you will be responsible for supporting and strengthening the relationship to ensure contract longevity. In addition to retention activity, you will also be responsible for responding to tenders and additional providing additional sales support.
Ideal candidateFor us to be right for you and for you to be right for us, you will have previous experience in a fast paced, client focussed business (ideally within the food industry) with first-hand experience and knowledge of formal retention strategies. As a process driven individual, you will have some experience of sales and be familiar with tender documents. In addition, you will be an effective listener with the ability to build strong and lasting relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. With strong commercial acumen you will be results driven and thrive for success.
