Ahead of the new academic year in September, our client secondary schools in the South Manchester area are looking for flexible, adaptable and confident graduates/cover supervisors to join them.

The successful cover supervisors will be leading classes of students in the absence of the class teacher. There isn’t any planning or marking involved with this role and all work is set in advance. This role gives the successful cover supervisor the opportunity to get a feel for teaching a class of secondary school students, gaining valuable experience for a potential future as a teacher. Graduates or existing cover supervisors would be ideal for this position.

Highlights of the cover supervisor position:

* Pay dependent upon experience; ranging between �54 - �65 per day
* Full time and part time opportunities available in a range of secondary schools in the South Manchester area
* Various and ongoing CPD opportunities via Teaching Personnel’s links with National Teaching Schools

Our client secondary schools in the South Manchester area are easily accessible via local public transport. There are a variety of opportunities from full time and part time temporary posts, given the requirements of the schools which we work with.

There are secondary schools in the Central Manchester area including Levenshulme, Whalley Range, Burnage, Wythenshawe and Stockport with plenty of options depending on your location.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
