FEMALE PE TEACHER VACANCY

One of our lovely partner schools are seeking a female PE teacher to start in September. The role is full time and for a year. There is potential for further employment after this for the right candidate.

The school:

-Graded ‘good’ in a recent Estyn inspection with potential to be excellent.

-large student population drawn from the Neath and surrounding areas.

-The school is currently a ‘professional learning pioneer school’. This means that it is working with the Welsh Government and other professional learning pioneer schools to develop a national model of professional learning.

-Pupils’ attendance is consistently above modelled outcomes

- In many lessons, effective teaching ensures that many pupils make strong progress

-Children thrive in a secure and caring atmosphere where high standards of behaviour, social manners and academic achievement are paramount.

The right candidate:

-PGCE qualified (or equivalent) to teach Physical education to GCSE level.

-full DBS on the update service (we can help with this)

-EWC registered (we can help with this)

-Enthusiastic and hardworking

-A team player who can also work under their own initiative
