A school based in the Chorlton area is looking for a full time English teacher to join them following the October half term in the new academic year. This is to cover a maternity leave due to start during the second half of the autumn term with a transition period for 2 weeks. This is a full time teaching position for the successful teacher of English, teaching KS3 and KS4. The school are therefore looking for a strong classroom practitioner to join them for the remainder of the academic year.

The team is made up of 8 English teachers with a Head of Faculty and second in department; as well as 2 recently qualified teachers.

The school is well equipped to support a NQT with their induction year, with applications being welcome from English teachers at any stage of their teaching career.

This excellent secondary school is located in the Chorlton area of South Manchester. The school is nearby the local Metrolink tram line making it easy to get to for teachers travelling on public transport. The school does have a good sized car park on site as well as fantastic facilities.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
