A Service Desk Engineer / 1st Line Support Advisor is needed to join a leading technology service business based in Cheshire. Expect an exciting role with enormous room for progression supporting clients, remotely and onsite.

They are now seeking an experienced Service Desk Engineer / 1st Line Support Advisor to join their talented team.

Joining as the Service Desk Engineer / 1st Line Support Advisor you will be responsible for triaging and resolving issues which come into the Service Desk by email, manual entry or direct customer input. Whether you are resolving customer issues, delivering customer requests; producing documentation or providing on-site support you will deliver exceptional customer service at all times.

To qualify- � We are looking for an enthusiastic, technical-minded individual with prior experience in a service desk who is looking to take the next step as a Service Desk Engineer / First Line Support Advisor / Helpdesk Engineer / 1st Line Support Technician role within a Managed Service Provider (MSP). In more detail your CV should highlight:

- Experience within a service desk or IT helpdesk environment;
- Possession of technical knowledge and troubleshooting abilities;
- Any experience or exposure to any of the following: Office365, Active Directory and Exchange Servers or Virtualisation systems (i.e. VMware &Hyper V);
- The ability to think logically to diagnose issues and put resolutions in place;
- Good interpersonal skills in particular telephony skills, active listening and customer care;
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written;
- The ability to multi-task and adapt to change;
- You are motivated to learn and improve your technical skills and knowledge;
- The ability to work well in a team.

A full UK Drivers Licence is also required for the role.
