Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit and appoint an English teacher in October on behalf of our client school in Stockport. This traditional 11-16 mixed comprehensive school are open to applications form newly qualified English teachers or experienced English teachers coming to the end of a contract and looking for a new and exciting challenge. The school is graded requires improvement by Ofsted in but with senior leadership and management graded as Good.

This is a full time English teaching position with the successful candidate having the option to secure a permanent school based contract after an initial introduction through Teaching Personnel. You will be part of a thriving English department that regularly achieves above national averages academically. Located in the SK7 post code of Bramhall the school can be located just off the A523 and A6 there are also accessible public transport routes.

In this role you will be expected to take on full time teaching responsibilities of planning and marking to ensure students are on track to reach their expected levels of progress. Large in size with over 1200 student son roll this is an excellent opportunity for an NQT seeking their first teaching post.
