A vibrant and caring SEN school in Oxford are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, engaging and creative Teaching Assistants. The position is temporary however may change to a permanent post for the successful applicant.

Our school caters for pupils with a range of needs, including the following:

* Autistic Spectrum Condition, including Aspergers Syndrome (ASC)
* Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH)
* Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD)
* Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
* Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD)
* Dyslexia
* Dyspraxia
* Attachment Issues
* Tourette’s Syndrome
* Pathological Demand Avoidance Syndrome (PDAS)
* Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)

It will involve working on a 1:1 basis and general classroom support with children who have Special Educational Needs therefore, we need candidates who have specific experience of providing 1:1 support for SEN pupils – promoting their overall development.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
