Teacher of Art required for a Bolton based Academy starting from October half term due to a staffing restructure for two terms with the potential to progress till the end of the academic year 2018/2019.

This smaller than average Secondary Academy has been noted for its high standards of teaching and learning and wish to appoint a dynamic, passionate and inventive Teacher of Art to join their well respected Academy ahead of the October half term.

* Full time temporary post (2 terms) Teacher of Art, Bolton required from October 2018.

* Must hold QTS – both experienced and Newly Qualified Teachers of Art will be considered for this role.
* Access to CPD training programmes through our partner schools across Greater Manchester.
* Pay in line with MPS/UPS �22, 917 - �38, 633. Dependant upon experience*

Located in the Farnworth constituency of Bolton, neighbouring with Bury, the school has fewer than 500 pupils on roll aged 11- 16. The Academy is led by the guidance of its Senior Leadership Team.

The duties for the Teacher of Art include;

* Plan, prepare and deliver dynamic Art lessons across Key Stage 3-4.
* Maintain positive behaviour in the classroom using behaviour management strategies to ensure pupils are engaged, in accordance to policies in place at school.
* Access to state of the art facilities and modern resources.
* Monitor, assess and evaluate pupil achievement taking appropriate action.

Located a few miles outside Bolton Town Centre, the Academy is perfectly situated to be accessible via the M61 and the surrounding areas; Bury, Wigan, Salford and Chorley. Public transport links are also easily accessible, with the Bus and Train station a few miles away from the Academy.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
