Flexible Maths Tutors required for a Bolton based Academy from September 2018, on a temporary basis till Easter half term 2019.

* Flexible Maths Tutors required, September 2018. Bolton Secondary school.
* Temporary basis till Easter 2019.
* Must hold subject specific qualifications and have previous experience supporting young people within an educational capacity.
* Supporting pupils within mainstream education as well as pupils who may be transitioning back into mainstream education.
* Earn up to �1200 per month, dependant upon experience.*

The Secondary Academy serves a wide catchment area and pupils respect their teachers and peers. The school ethos is based on providing academic excellence with the main objective being pupil progress. Under the management of Senior Leadership, the school has consistently made progress.

As the incoming Maths Tutor, you will be working with pupils from a range of backgrounds, therefore high levels of effective teaching and learning will be essential to be considered. You will need to have the appropriate skills to engage learners, motivate them and help bridge the gap between them and their peers.

* Extensive subject knowledge is essential; supporting within the Maths department at the Secondary Key Stages will be highly advantageous as experience will be highly applicable.
* Confidence in ability to build positive relationship with pupils and promote a Growth Mind-Set.
* Deliver Maths sessions to pupils on a 1:1 basis, in small groups and deliver pre-planned Maths sessions to low achieving pupils.

This Academy is located in the Farnworth region of Bolton and has roughly 500 pupils on roll aged 11-16. The school is easily accessible, with excellent public transport links readily available. Also, the M60 or M61 make the surrounding areas; Bury, Chorley, Wigan and Salford commutable.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
