Full time or Part-time Dental Nurse/Receptionist for a growing team.
This is a high end private dental practice, based in Cheadle Hulme, Cheshire.
The ideal candidate for this role will be an experienced dental receptionist and fully qualified, GDC registered dental nurse with at least 2 years experience, and general dental knowledge is essential.
Hours required can be discussed but ideally we need someone for 3 days per week. Salary is negotiable.
Will also consider full time
We want someone who is very professional, motivated, hard working and a real people’s person. Good administration skills are necessary with ability to show initiative within a busy forward thinking dental practice.
Knowledge of SOE Exact software is a benefit.
Must be someone who has an interest in being part of a team, aiming to provide the highest of standards in dentistry and patient care.
As part of the role, you will:
Ensure the care and welfare of patients
Perform high quality dental nursing whilst assisting each dentist, hygienist or therapist in all procedures in a safe and effective manner in accordance with the ‘Code of Ethics’ of the British Association of Dental Nurses, the GDC’s ‘Scope of Practice’
Follow practice policies and procedures
Establish, promote and maintain productive working relationships with all members of the dental team
Liaise with the practice manager on all matters concerning administration, pay and service conditions
Assist with the supervision of trainee dental nurses in the practice
Bringing ideas to practice meetings on how the efficiently benefit the practice
Assist with reception duties and perform other clerical duties if required
Have exceptional interpersonal skills
Great on the telephone and able to triage patients
Documenting dental care services in patient records and maintaining patient confidence, keeping information confidential
Protecting patients and employees by adhering to data protection policies and protocols
Liaise with all to ensure smooth patient communications and transfer of records
Other duties as necessary for the efficient operation of the practice Undergo training as may be required to develop skills and abilities
Attend refresher and update training for medical emergencies
