This is an exciting opportunity for the ideal candidate to be part of the continued development and growth of the business as well their career. 

You will be responsible for ensuring the effectiveness and development of the engineering Quality Management System and provide the Quality Lead in engineering development. 
Main responsibilities
Develop Project Quality Procedure and Plan.
Monitor the Project Document Management, Document Control and Records Management activities.
Perform Quality Induction activities within the various areas of the Project.
Plan and lead internal Project Auditing activities.
Collate and report on the relevant the data required by the Project QMS:

Materials certificates;
Weld records including inspections;
NDT records.

Provide comment and approval for upload of Technical Clarification’s and Technical Deviations.
Manage input to the Quality Improvement Register.
Liaise with Client Quality Manager and Quality Engineers to ensure Quality deliverables and dates are met.
Provide weekly QA status reports.
Assess the Quality suitability of vendors and sub-contractors.
Ensure subcontractors have appropriate certifications for equipment, steelwork, welder qualifications etc. in place.
Plan and implement Project Quality management activities within the Project and coordinate the implementation of Project Quality Control activities.
Perform Audits and inspections to verify specifications are being met.

Ideal candidate
Bachelor's degree with 5+ years related experience ; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge of steel fabrication and machining including:

Materials certification and traceability;
Welding, weld specifications and welder qualifications;

Must have knowledge gained from within a high risk industry quality, safety, engineering environment (preferably Nuclear).
Auditor qualifications (preferably IRCA registered).
Computer literate, able to develop procedures and plans to meet client and Nuclear specifications.
Must be willing to travel within the UK and to the Netherlands
Full eligibility to work and live in the UK
