Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant, experienced in supporting students with autism and learning difficulties for a Primary School in County Durham to commence ASAP within their ASC provision.

Ideally applicants would have experience with ASC and learning difficulties in a Primary School setting from EYFS - KS2. Additional qualifications such as Team Teach and Moving & Handling are desired but not mandatory. We would also welcome applicants with relevant transferable skills such as Youth Workers or Support Workers as well as recent graduates.

Our ideal candidate will have:

-3 months experience supporting students with Autism in a Primary setting between EYFS - KS1 - KS2

-Experience challenging behaviours and Team-Teach trained

-NCFE/CACHE Level 2/3 Supporting and Learning in Schools

-Patient and nurturing mannerism
