As a part of that expansion, they are focussing on upgrading their IT systems with the long-term view of having IT has a strategy enabler rather than a traditional support service. In particular, they want to focus on their End User Computing strategy and they want to bring on board an experienced professional who can take them in the most effective technical direction.

You will work closely with key 3 rd party suppliers and the wider business to create and maintain and highly efficient IT services for the international business.

* Develop and implement a coherent strategy based around end user computing, including both a hardware and software refresh
* Provide technical leadership for the end user computing team as well as the wider IT function
* Liaise with 3 rd party suppliers to ensure they are providing the most efficient and cost-effective service be that through day-to-day operations or project-focused work
* Software license management for full lifecycle, using tools such as SNOW to ensure software environment is compliant
* Provide direction for the implementation of new technologies and best practice across all offices

Person Specification

* Windows 10 certification, Windows 10, Configuring & Windows 10, Enterprise Desktop Support Technician or Windows XP or Windows 10 equivalent
* Microsoft Office and Office 365
* Solid understanding of desktop or laptop configuration
* Strong personality, and ability to 'ask questions' through liaising with 3 rd party suppliers
* Experience working with offices at locations across Europe (additional language is beneficial)
* Use of SCCM, WSUS, GPO and scripting to automate tasks
* Proven ability to manage all aspects of Hardware and Software lifecycle
* Ability to investigate and resolve issues utilizing a structured problem solving process.
* Excellent organisation, problem solving, communication, prioritisation and facilitation skills.
* Exposure and proven ability to negotiate present and communicate with senior business leaders.
* Demonstrable capability to assimilate and retain business/system knowledge for input into system strategy recommendations.

This is a great opportunity to join an expanding and forward-thinking organisation who support the role of IT and it's benefits on the business strategy.
