Teaching Personnel are currently working closely with a 2 form primary school in the Birstall area. This "Good" Birstall school that serves the local community within the infant years, are looking to add an Early Years teaching assistant to their Early Years Department. As an Early Years teaching assistant, you would be expected to support children on a small group basis and occasionally on a 1:1 basis.

The focus for the school in Birstall at this current moment is to help support new children from various backgrounds to settle into their Early Years department and as such, the role comes with certain unique challenges. As an Early Years teaching assistant, you would be working with children whose first language is not English (EAL) and children with "Looked After" (LAC) backgrounds.

Job Highlights:

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE E.n.g.l.i.s.h & M.a.t.h.s (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
