The Company and the Role:
The Company is a multi-award winning, family run gastro pub chain operating 8 sites in the South East, currently seeking a permanent Chef de Partie for their public house located near Epsom, Surrey.
They are looking for a committed Chef de Partie with a passion for good food that is ready to continue developing their career in an award-winning venue.
Established in 2003 the Company is offering a salary up to �21k dependent on experience plus tips and benefits including a pension scheme, staff loyalty scheme after 3 months, Uniform / Chefs Whites provided, Childcare Vouchers and accommodation can be offered dependent on availability upon application.

Key Features of the Role:
As a Chef de Partie you get to oversee a section of the kitchen, be it pastry, butchery, fish, sauces, vegetables and so on. Chances are that you'll be cooking great English pub cuisine with a little French twist.
All food is prepared in house using fresh ingredients and local suppliers wherever possible.
You will be expected to create and develop and set the highest standards of food quality and consistency.
You will be a great team player with good organisational skills and the ability to thrive in a very busy environment, to an award-winning pub standard, enhancing the company's reputation for consistently preparing cooking and presenting dishes to the right quality that is second to none.
Helping the Sous Chef and Head Chef to develop new dishes and menus.
Managing and training any Demi-Chef de Parties or Commis Chefs working with you.
Monitoring portion and waste control to maintain profit margins.
Ensuring you and the team have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety.

Knowledge and Skills:
Ideally with experience of working in a fresh food kitchen at a similar level, or a Commis Chef looking to move up to the next level.
Your practical Chef de Partie experience should ideally be supported by some form of catering qualification.
Previous experience in a similar role requiring a broad food knowledge and precise attention to detail is essential.
You must have experience and a desire to work with fresh and quality ingredients and possess ambition to continually improve yourself the business.
Experienced in managing and training any Demi-Chef de Parties or Commis Chefs working with you.

What's on Offer?
Basic salary will be in the region of �19,000 - �21,000 per annum depending experience and skill set plus tips which will be worth around �80 per week.
Benefits include pension scheme, staff loyalty scheme after 3 months and childcare vouchers, uniform / Chefs Whites provided.
Accommodation can be offered dependent on availability upon application.
Standard working week is 45 hours working 5 shifts a week which will include split shifts and weekends.
