Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with an Ofsted rated Good with Outstanding Features Secondary school based in Preston, to appoint a teacher of History to join their larger than average Secondary School ahead of October 2018.

If you are an enthusiastic, passionate teacher of History looking for your next post with strong subject knowledge, good classroom management and experience delivering the History curriculum at Key Stages 3-4, then this position will provide the ideal professional development and experience.

- Full time Teacher of History Position, October 2018.

- Must hold QTS - both experienced and newly qualified teachers are welcome to apply.

- Work in an Ofsted rated 'Good with Outstanding Features Secondary School.

The History department at this well respected secondary school have driven very hard to create a learning environment that caters for all abilities. The incoming History teacher will be a dynamic and passionate teacher of History looking to join a strong staff team led through dedicated senior staff members who pride themselves in the development of their pupils.

Teacher of History will be expected to;

- Plan, prepare and mark classwork, reporting back to Senior Leadership.

- Deliver dynamic History lessons ranging to meet the needs of pupils at all learning abilities and ages.

- Manage behaviour in accordance to behaviour management policies, aimed at the engagement of pupils across the board.

- Uphold school ethos and values.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE E.n.g.l.i.s.h & M.a.t.h.s (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
