Teaching Personnel are seeking to recruit a qualified Welsh secondary teacher for a full time maternity teaching post starting in September towards Swansea.

The successful candidate must have experience teaching working in education, school based references and must be able to teach Welsh to GCSE or above.

Newly qualified teachers are also urged to apply!

This is a full time role Monday to Friday with excellent rates of pay. Pay will be dependant on experience and what is expected by the school.

A current DBS application is also desirable however full assistance will be provided in obtaining a DBS check. You must be registered with the education workforce council.

The school is a large mixed comprehensive school with a large languages department. The welsh teacher you will be covering is set to leave early September and the school have planned for a hand over during the first week of term. The candidate will need great communication skills and have the ability to communicate with parents and other members of staff in a professional manner.

Applications for this position are being collected today and throughout the next week. The school are looking to appoint throughout the summer. There will be a day in which they want to meet the future teacher to discuss timetables and expectations.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE E.n.g.l.i.s.h & M.a.t.h.s (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
