Job IntroductionSkipton Building Society has an exciting new opportunity in our Reward and Governance Team. Working with a small team of Reward professionals the successful applicant will join us as a Reward and Governance Manager and will enjoy a busy and varied role providing first class service across all aspects of reward.Main ResponsibilitiesTo work collaboratively with the other Reward and Governance Managers to develop proposals for SBS Reward StrategyTo lead the planning, implementation and communication of key Society reward and governance activities including, for example, the annual pay review process and the annual discretionary bonus processTo support changes in business organisation design though the application of robust role grading and role benchmarking processesTo monitor and review the ongoing performance of reward policies/ procedures and processes in the Society and strive for continuous improvementTo ensure that the Reward Governance Frameworks are effective, clearly communicated and appropriately observed across the SocietyTo ensure that regulatory reporting requirements for the Society are completed in an accurate, timely and compliant mannerTo ensure that the Society’s employee benefit offering is regularly benchmarked and remains relevant for all colleaguesTo support the ongoing maintenance, delivery and governance of the Senior Manager and Certification Regime proceduresTo lead, as appropriate, the desired reward outcomes for key Society projectsIdeal CandidateWe are looking for a self-motivated, flexible and well organised individual with excellent analytical skills who is able to manage a number of different activities at the same time. The ideal candidate will haveexperience of working within a Reward team with exposure across a range of reward activities including job evaluation and role grading, salary benchmarking, employee benefits and reward governance.
