GM Opportunities Nationwide

To control, develop and improve all aspects of the business including: P&L, people, standards, legal compliance, service and brand integrity.

Identify recruitment needs, advertise, interview, recruit and induct new team members.
Conduct appraisals and produce development plans for all of the team.
Train, coach mentor and motivate team members.
Attend area meetings and feedback any relevant information to the team members.
Deal with team member performance issues
Hold pre-session briefings as and when appropriate.
Take responsibility for own training.

Grow Every Day

Adhere to opening and closing duties of the business.
Brief team on any forthcoming promotional activity and events, as appropriate.
Implement and drive promotional activities.
Monitor competitor activity.
Ensure all promotional merchandising is displayed in line with company specification.
Maximise all sales opportunities.

Invest in our Future

Possess full product knowledge and awareness of profit margins associated with products.
Demonstrate commercial awareness of ordering, and stock control.
Understand the pub’s budget and manage expenditure accordingly.
Demonstrate good understanding of P&L.

Deliver Fantastic Experiences

Deal with any issues that arise promptly and professionally,
Lead by example to ensure that the highest possible levels of customer service are delivered by the team at all times.
Ensure the team serves all products to company and brand specification.
Service and standards are implemented and adhered to by team.
Ensure any complaints are dealt with in a prompt and professional manner, ensuring the customer is satisfied.

Keep us Safe and Legal

Ensure completion of front of house diary, door incident log, kitchen diary.
Compliance with premises licence requirements.
Adhere to all aspects of Fire, Health & Safety, Food Hygiene, Licencing law, Challenge 21, Trading Standards, COSHH and any other company policies such as Stock and Cash.
