Due to our unrivalled growth, we are now looking for an experienced Credit Controller / Sales Ledger Clerk to join our head office finance team. On offer is:

The Role

Reporting to the Financial Controller, The Credit Controller / Sales Ledger Clerk is responsible for managing outstanding monies owed to the business. You will oversee all outstanding debts owed to the business from existing 3rd parties and manage new accounts obtained by the business.

You will liaise closely with the Financial Controller to deliver an accurate and efficient credit control service. This role requires building and maintaining strong relationships with 3rd parties to ensure the smooth running of accounts.

The day-to-day duties of the Credit Controller / Sales Ledger Clerk are varied and include managing outstanding creditor accounts, ensuring timely payments are made, processing incoming funds, reconciling invoices, resolving account queries and managing the recovery of outstanding funds.

The Ideal Credit Controller / Sales Ledger Clerk:

The successful Credit Controller / Sales Ledger Clerk will have good working knowledge of credit control and purchase ledger procedures. You will have outstanding attention to detail with an ability to reconcile sales ledger accounts as well as experience of Microsoft Office and accountancy software - the sales ledger module in particular You will also:

- Have the ability to generate detailed reports to feed into the Financial Controller and above
- Be accurate, efficient and organized, with the ability to prioritise tasks as needed
- Have the ability to maintain strong relationships with external 3rd parties and internal colleagues
- Be professional, confident and diplomatic when liaising with others
- Have previous experience within a fast paced, dynamic business
