What are we looking for?

As our ideal Transport Administrator, you will be able to demonstrate the following:

- A commitment to participating in and contributing to a safe working environment at all times
- A willingness to learn and/or develop your current skill set
- Good communication skills and a desire to work as part of a team
- The ability to provide excellent service to both internal and external customers
- Brilliant attention to detail
- Strong IT skills - previous experience with SAP would also be advantageous


What will I be responsible for?

Reporting to the Business Administration Supervisor, the successful Transport Administrator will be responsible for:

- Liaise with finance, planning, transport and commercial functions to maximise the opportunity for correct payments and reduction of haulier queries
- Management of purchase order number process and goods receipting invoices for hired haulage
- Build and maintain regional hire log to produce meaningful data on hire performance.
- Receive and report on any haulier complaints or defective or returned materials. Contribute to any relevant root cause analysis.
- Provide support to sector offices responding positively and confidently to their requirements
- Ensure all Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) Policies and Procedures are adhered too
