Geotechnical / Environmental Engineer - Northampton

Excellent Salary dependant on experience - Monday to Friday.

My Client are a leading Structural and Civil Engineering Consultancy. With offices based in Leicester, Northampton and Huntingdon, they have established a broad client base with projects ranging from small residential properties through to vast commercial developments.
The main responsibilities for this role - Geotechnical / Environmental Engineer ( Engineering / Geology based Degree, Suds / Flood risk assessment knowledge, Contaminated Land risk assessment knowledge )
The ability to assess and carry out site investigations and desk studies
The ability to plan and execute intrusive ground investigations
To be able to write full detailed factual and interpretive reports
Dealing with both engineering and contamination assessments will form a major part of the workload
Representing PRP UK Ltd at meetings with clients, consultants and contractors
Sites include commercial, industrial and housing developments

Skills required for this role - Geotechnical / Environmental Engineer ( Engineering / Geology based Degree, Suds / Flood risk assessment knowledge, Contaminated Land risk assessment knowledge )
Geotechnical/Environmental Engineer
Will ideally have an engineering or geology based degree
Is familiar with current legislation on risk assessment for contaminated land and be able to advise on remediation techniques
You should be self-managing, well organised and be able to work on your own initiative and as part of a team
Knowledge of SuDS and flood risk assessments would be a distinct advantage
