Teaching Personnel are exclusively partnered with a specialist Pupil Referral Unit located Winchester, who requires individuals to fill SEMH Teaching Assistant vacancies for the new academic year (September 2018).

The position will require candidates to work with a variety of pupils working across key stages 2 – 4; all of whom demonstrate a complex variety of social and emotional needs. This may include individuals with: Autism, Anxiety and Self-harm, Disruptive Behaviour. Attending pupils will have been temporarily or permanently excluded from mainstream schooling, due to a number of circumstances.

The candidate:

* Minimum requirement of GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths (A-C)
* Experience with challenging behaviour (career or personal)
* Excellent communication and listening skills
* Be resilient
* Outgoing and confident

The Role:

* Hours: 8.30am – 3.30pm
* Salary: Earning potential of �325 per week (�54.00 - �65.00 per day dependent on experience and qualifications)
* 1:1 or small group basis
* Engaging pupils in education (Management of time)

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE E.n.g.l.i.s.h & M.a.t.h.s (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
