My client an award-winning company operating at the forefront of the construction industry are looking to hire an IT Service Coordinator. My clients IT strategy is a Service Management approach to IT (rather than the traditional technology focussed approach). IT is a service to the business, and as with any service it is there to provide value to its customers. ITs role is to assist/enable the business in achieving its objectives and priorities.

This is a key role within the IT team, where the person will be responsible for carrying out and the up keep of the IT administration processes. This is an administrative role that requires strong organisational and internal-customer management skills to ensure that all processes are adhered to. The job is based full time in their London Office, but may require occasional trips to regional offices when required. It is important to note that, whilst this is a role within the IT team, the correct person for the job will need to possess more organisational/customer relationship skills than IT skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Request Management

* Full administrative responsibility over all IT Requests
* Up keep of the IT Request system.
* Updating staff on request progress
* Chasing suppliers on requests.

Site Setup Management

* Coordination of all IT Requirements relating to Site Setups, Moves and Decommissions.
* Update fellow members of IT on Site Setups in Weekly Meeting.
* Attend weekly update meetings with suppliers

Asset Management

* Day-to-day Stock control with suppliers
* Production of weekly reports detailing current inventory and software analysis.
* Ensuring that all licences are allocated and new purchases are inputted correctly into the Asset Management system.
* Assisting with implementation of any new Asset Management system.
* Ensuring all inactive accounts/leavers are appropriately suspended following the agreed process.

Change Management

* Assisting IT Service Operations Manager with weekly change call, ensuring that all documentation is completed prior to the call.
* Keeping Change Control Calendar up to date
* Assisting with implementation of new Change Management process.

Financial Management

* Ensuring that all invoices allocated are coded correctly.
* Completing monthly IT Credit Card return for approval.
* Procurement of all IT Hardware/Software requirements, following an agreed approval process.

Management Reports

* Production of monthly user and asset reports.
* Assisting with quarterly board reports.
* Participate and document weekly catch ups with IT Operations Team to discuss tasks.
* Updating team calendar with team movements/annual leave.
