Location: Sidcup, Kent DA14 5EF

Salary: �15,000 - �20,000 Per annum

Hours: Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:00

About the company:

Our client is a specialist Credit Hire Company. They provide replacement vehicles to people who have been involved in non-fault motor accidents. They specifically cater to the private hire industry (minicabs) and taxis. Their core team have been together for over 5 years and staff turnaround is low. They encourage entrepreneurial thinking and offer an excellent working environment for all staff.

They are currently recruiting for a First Notification of Loss Claims Handler (FNOL) the primary role overview is to monitor incoming supply chains of work and act upon those instructions by administering them on to the relevant system, making introductions to potential customers and processing the new instructions either to acceptance or rejection. The FNOL team are the front line to customers and in validating instructions the team provides an essential and technical contribution to the business.

Duties of the Claims Handler:

* Working as part of a small dedicated First notification of loss team, to administer all new instructions received via email, hot key, out of hours notifications or any other supply methods ensuring that the claims are loaded on to the system within 1 hour of instruction.
* Carry out claim validation enquiries to enable a decision to be made on whether the claim is accepted or rejected within SLA's
* Attaching all evidence gathered to the paper and digital file.
* Follow system driven processes to complete work.

Requirements of the Claims Handler:

* Have at least 12 months Customer Service or Claims handling experience
* Have excellent organisation and communication skills. Be able to prioritise and be self-motivated.
* You will be confident in making decisions and addressing fellow employees at all levels whether it be face to face, by telephone or by email.
* You will need to be competent in the use of Microsoft Office Products.
* Previous experience in the motor claims industry is advantageous.
* Credit hire experience preferred, but not essential.
