Here at Teaching Personnel we are recruiting for a SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a Special Educational Needs school in High Wycombe. Our school in High Wycombe caters for looked after children who provide a range of extensive services such as:

* School improvement and curriculum support
* Governor support
* Educational psychology
* Online safeguarding
* School business support
* School workforce development
* Emotional health services

The school is a special school for 190 children and young people with a broad diversity of complex needs, from Profound and Multiple to Moderate Learning Difficulties (PMLD to MLD). The are located on two sites in the High Wycombe area (Downley and Cressex) and cater for pupils from 3 to 19.

Downley (co-located with The Downley School):

PMLD (age 3 – 19) Moderate Speech, Language and Communication Needs (KS2)


Complex ASD (age 3-19) Complex Speech, Language and Communication Needs, with separate departments within the Early Years, Key Stage 1 and 2 and Key Stage 3-5

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE E.n.g.l.i.s.h & M.a.t.h.s (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
